Tandem to his ongoing producing activities, Steven J. Wolfe is Chairman and CEO of Sneak Preview Entertainment, the nine year old Production and Management company, where he continues to develop and package new projects with partners Lynette Prucha Chavez, Josh Silver, Michael Roth and Brad Warshaw.   Sneak Preview represents nearly twenty actors, writers and directors including Nancy Allen (“Out of Sight”, “Robocop”), Keith David (“Something About Mary”, “Requiem for a Dream”), Dorothy Lyman (“The Nanny”), Hallie Foote ("Talking Pictures"), David Beaird (“Scorchers”, “Key West”), Sam Bernstien and Ronald Shore (“Bobby’s Girl”) and Yareli Arizmendi (“Like Water for Chocolate”).

Mr. Wolfe continues his interest in making films that examine the human condition in a less than conventional manner.  He most recently completed production on “Sex & Violence” the story of a misogynist (Patrick Warburton) who learns an important life lesson when he purchases and Asian mail order bride (Marie Matiko).  Also starring Eric Roberts, Carol Kane, John Glover, Jennifer Tilly and Simon Callow, “The Civilization of Maxwell Bright” represents the fourth film Wolfe has done with writer / director David Beaird and fifth film with Academy Award © nominated actress Jennifer Tilly.

He recently produced“Fast Sofa” and “Circuit.”  “Fast Sofa”, starring Jake Busey, Crispin Glover, Adam Goldberg, Natasha Lyonne, Eric Roberts and Jennifer Tilly, chronicles the story of one man’s (Busey) obsession with a porn actress (Tilly), despite the negative consequences to his life. The film marks Wolfe’s second feature with director Salome’ Breziner (having previously produced her first feature Tollbooth).  “Circuit, director Dirk Shafer’s follow up to his critically acclaimed first feature “Man of the Year” is a hard-hitting look at one man’s journey into the drug and sex-filled under world of the gay circuit party scene and adds another film which is likely to be considered extremely controversial to Wolfe’s impressive list of producing accomplishments. Lions Gate Entertainment and “Circuit” which recently enjoyed a successful US theatrical release acquired “Fast Sofa”.

Sony Pictures Classics acquired Wolfe’s film, “Twin Falls Idaho” at its world premier in the 1999 Sundance Film Festival.  The story of young woman who finds herself with feelings for one of two, adult conjoined twins, "Twin Falls" is the debut feature of award winning writers Mark and Michael Polish, identical twin brothers who play the role of conjoined twins Blake and Francis in the film, with Michael directing as well. “Twin Falls” won the Special Jury Prize at the Deauville Film Festival and was nominated for Two Independent Spirit Awards including Best First Film over $500,000. 

Wolfe co-produced “The Clean & Narrow” starring Jack Noseworthy (“Event Horizon”), Laura Leighton (“Melrose Place”), Wings Hauser and Sondra Locke.  Set in the industrial wasteland of Texas, it is the story ofa young man who resorts to petty larceny to escape his blue collar roots so he and his wife can start anew in another town.  Management Client William Katt (“Big Wednesday”, “The Greatest American Hero”) made his directorial debut with this film.

Wolfe's production "Relax...It’s Just Sex,” accumulated exceptional grosses and gushing reviews in it’s US Theatrical engagements, The film initially premiered at the 1998 Sundance Film Festival and was the opening night selection of Outfest '98, playing at over 100 festivals around the world. Starring Jennifer Tilly, Lori Petty, Mitchell Anderson, Serena Scott Thomas, Cynda Williams, Seymour Cassel & Paul Winfield, “Relax” is the first feature from Writer/Director P.J. Castellaneta, since his award-winning debut "Together Alone" garnered critical raves around the world.  Almost three years after it’s initial premier, “Relax” continues to be an audience pleaser and perennial favorite on the festival circuit. Wolfe looks for material that will attract talent.  Previous to “Relax”, Wolfe produced a stylish European thriller, "Bird Of Prey," the first privately financed American / Bulgarian co-production.  Shot on location in Sofia, Bulgaria and directed by Temistocles Lopez ("Chain of Desire), the film stars Jennifer Tilly, Richard Chamberlain, Lenny Von Dohlen, Robert Carradine and Lesley Ann Warren.

Known for his eclectic tastes in film, Mr. Wolfe produced the off-beat romance "Tollbooth" which world premiered at the 1994 Cannes Film Festival.  Daily Variety gave it a stellar review and proclaimed "Director Salomé Breziner's 'Tollbooth' is generating more heat than the Riviera sun!".  The film stars Fairuza Balk, Lenny Von Dohlen, Will Patton, Seymour Cassel, James Wilder, William Katt and Louise Fletcher.  "Tollbooth" competed against 4100 entries in the Houston International Film Festival where it won theGold Award for "Best Theatrical Feature by a First Time Director."  In its US theatrical release, Kevin Thomas at the LA Times called "Tollbooth," a giddy contemporary comedy that's romantic on the one hand, gleefully prankish on the other, that's distinctive and funny."

Wolfe also Co-Produced Director Betty Thomas' first feature, the romantic comedy "Only You," starring Andrew McCarthy, Kelly Preston and Helen Hunt, as well as David Beaird's "Scorchers," starring Faye Dunaway, James Earl Jones, Emily Lloyd,Denholm Elliott, Jennifer Tilly and James Wilder, for PRO Filmworks and Goldcrest.

The Producer of the highly successful Crown International Pictures release, "My Mom’s A Werewolf," with Susan Blakely and John Saxon, Wolfe also served as Supervising Producer on the Crown features "Night Club" and "Death Row Game Show"; as Associate Producer on "Hunk"; and as Production Manager on "Tomboy" and the critically acclaimed "My Chauffeur" during his seven year tenure at Crown International Pictures.  His vast production background includes diverse credits on such films as"Miss Lonely Hearts," "Creature," "Chatterly II," "Octavia," "Extreminator II," "The Lost Empire," "Weekend Pass," "My Tutor," “The Patriot," "Lies," "Space Raiders," as well as numerous short films and commercials.

Wolfe's is currently readying “Coyote” with Sara Risher at Chickflicks and Emmy Award winning actress Dorothy Lyman, who will make her feature directorial debut.   He’s also prepping "The Preacher’s Son",a re-teaming with writer-director Edgar Bravo ("I'll Love You Forever... Tonight") with whom Wolfe first worked he started in the industry as an intern at American Film Institute, as well as “Dance Card” (with Lesley Ann Warren) by Joan Tewkesbury and “Arrow Man”to be directed by Craig Saavedra (“The Family Bloom”). He continues his ongoing packaging and development slate, which includes “Thirty-Five Sunset Avenue,” “Love Most Deadly,” “Moon In Jasmine”, “The Worn Doorstep”, “Love & Medicine,” “Blanca Rosa”, “Family Portrait”, “Saturday’s Child, “ “Night To Live” (which company heads Wolfe and Prucha-Chavez have co-written together), “Situation Wanted” and “Suspicious Minds”
