As practicing physician for twenty-five years, Michael always had a keen interest in the entertainment industry.  In college the theater was always a passion, dancing in Guys and Dolls, Oklahoma, Pajama Gameand West Side Story.  Prior to medical school he obtained a Bachelors and Masters of Science Degree and postgraduate degrees in Internal Medicine and Allergy/Immunology.  During his practicing years he continued to dabble in the arts by using show business benefits to raise millions of dollars for various AIDS charities. As a long time personal friend and physician of Elizabeth Taylor, his fund raising activities stretched from Hollywood to Broadway.  He was the Medical Advisor (with creative input) on the groundbreaking first AIDS television movie, “An Early Frost.”

After retiring from medicine Michael decided to pursue his lifelong desire to reenter the creative arts by investing in the highly acclaimed feature film “Relax, It’s Just Sex” and uproarious stage production of “Howard Crabtree’s When Pig’s Fly.” 

Michael J RothMost recently he has joined his longtime friend Steven Wolfe, CEO of Sneak Preview Entertainment as Director of Development for the company. His close personal ties to Hollywood and his keen artistic sense are being utilized to create a new Music Video and Television Division at Sneak Preview, as well as enhancing the already successful Feature Division.  Roth produced Sneak Preview’s latest feature “Circuit” in conjunction with partner Steven Wolfe and writer Greg Hinton. Michael’s belief in “Circuit’s” writer Greg Hinton and writer-director Dirk Shafer was key  in bringing the project to fruition.  Most recently Michael co-produced Sneak Preview’s production of “Sex and Violence.
