Karen Lee Wolf graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelors Degree in Communications. Upon graduating, Karen made the leap from college student to employee, beginning what would turn out to be a largely successful career in the entertainment industry, joining forces with Los Angeles-based Media Home Entertainment, Inc.

Incidentally, Karen has always been surrounded by the film business, and thus it was no surprise that she ultimately went that rout with her own career.  Karen’s father, Joseph Wolf, was a co-creator of the original “Halloween”, and through his 3-plus decades in the industry, has been involved with countless successful projects.

Beyond her numerous accolades and accomplishments in the entertainment industry, by far Karen’s defining moment to date was her discovery of the screenplay for “ANightmare on Elm Street. After stumbling upon the screenplay,

Karen was so taken by its content that she immediately convinced her father that it was in his best interest to co-produce the film with New Line Cinema.  “A Nightmare on Elm Street” has since become one of the most successful movie franchises of all time.

After moving on from Media, Karen worked for Ascot Entertainment, Inc., a film distribution company.  She later wrote and produced her first feature, “Children of the Living Dead,” for Westwood Artists International, her current employer.

In addition to her various contributions to Westwood Artists (and the film community in general), Karen’s greatest passion lies in the development of children’s programming for Hispanic youths.  She has already developed numerous programs for this market, and she plans to devote even more time and energy to these endeavors in the future.
